Good News in History November 21
51 years ago today, Congress voted in a two thirds majority to override President Gerald Ford's attempted veto of the Freedom of Information Act strong>, after he was influenced to try the veto by Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. That decision gave the country the FOIA which it still maintains today, out of which have come dozens of the most high profile news stories and political scandals in modern American history. Winner of Weather Photographer of the Year is No end to a Rainbow
The Royal Meteorological Society has announced the winners of this year’s Weather Photographer of the Year Competition.

The grand prize winner went to a pair of photographers from China, and their winner of a complete circular rainbow.

Vintage Car Graveyard
METTMANN, Germany (AP) — Michael Froehlich celebrated his 50th birthday in 2000 by buying 50 vintage cars, all manufactured the year he was born. After removing the oil and pollutants, Froehlich parked them in a private forest near his home in western Germany to create a classic car graveyard. Check more out here. By  MARTIN MEISSNER

Tiny Homes for Veterans

So far in 2025, 29 veterans have graduated from a VCP tiny home into their own permanent housing, and dozens of vets have been welcomed into the 6 tiny home communities and are now working with on-site case managers for comprehensive assistance
